Papal Visit

     

250 Religious were among the first to welcome the Pope Benedict XVI to England at St. Mary’s Chapel in Twickenham on the 17th September 2010.

St Marys CollegeThe service celebrated the major contribution made by Religious to Catholic education over the years. Also honoured was the role of the Religious in the Church reflecting their contribution in bringing the word of God to others through prayer, action and service. The Holy Father was then present at the “Big Assembly” with 4,000 students.
