CoR Ecology and the Church: Our Vocation for Prophetic Action and Investment for our Common Home

The Conference of Religious of England and Wales is delighted to invite religious congregations and lay colleagues to a special event on Thursday 4 September 2025, 10.15am – 3.30pm at the London Jesuit Centre, W1K 3AH (followed by Mass for the Care of Creation).

The gathering, Ecology and the Church: Our vocation for prophetic action and investment for our Common Home, will feature a keynote address from Dr Lorna Gold of the Laudato Si’ Movement, who will explore how the Church can respond to the urgent call of ecological conversion and sustainable investment.

Speakers include

  • Sr Susan Francois CSJP – Sisters of St Joseph of Peace

  • Mark Campanale – Carbon Tracker

  • Rosie Venner – JustMoney Movement

  • Bokani Tshidzu – Operation Noah

  • James Buchanan – Laudato Si’ Movement

The day is organised in collaboration with Laudato Si’ Movement, Operation Noah, JustMoney Movement and the Association of Provincial Bursars.
