About the Speaker:
Fr. Hans Zollner SJ is Director of the Institute of Anthropology – Interdisciplinary Studies on Human Dignity and Care at the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome. A psychologist and licensed psychotherapist, he was one of the original eight members of the Pontifical Commission for the Protection of Minors established by Pope Francis in 2014. He has advised bishops' conferences worldwide on safeguarding policy and practice.

Capacitar Wellness Practices Training Course 2026

Capacitar training at Wellspring House, Manchester, offering practical wellness practices for personal and community healing.

Capacitar’s Wellness Practices Training Course offers an inspiring and practical programme for those working with individuals and communities affected by stress, trauma, or hardship. Rooted in body–mind–spirit healing, the training empowers participants with techniques for self-care and for use in their professional and volunteer work.

Through four modules held between February and September 2026 (a mix of in-person sessions at Wellspring House, Manchester, and online modules), participants will learn energy-based wellness practices, Tai Chi movements, breathwork, acupressure, emotional tapping, trauma awareness, and group facilitation methods.

The course is ideal for professionals and volunteers in health, social care, education, psychology, ministry, and community work. It offers a unique opportunity to deepen personal resilience and learn accessible methods to support healing and transformation in others.

The course fee of £650 includes training materials, background resources, and refreshments. A few concessions may be available.
